Happy pride month! I wanted to start off this week’s blog about your go-to engagement photographer in Tampa with this sentiment. I strongly feel that as an ally, and a photographer who lives and works in Florida, it’s important now more than ever to let everyone know where I stand. Florida is for everyone, the beaches are for everyone, and I photograph everyone! Now that we are on the same page, look at this awesome session from Tanner & Zac’s beach engagement session. I am in love with these photos!! They wanted to celebrate their recent engagement at a very special location near and dear to their heart. They enjoy traveling and had been here to Florida before, so this really tied into their story. I love when couples can weave in anything personal to make their session even more unique and special.
Proposal Engagement Photographer In Tampa
Tanner originally wanted to propose to Zac on the beach, and to have me capture the whole thing! Which I absolutely love to do, However, our schedules didn’t line up. The more he thought about it, the more Tanner decided to propose back home, surrounded by friends and family and have this vacation be special as a newly engaged couple. We decided to still stick to engagement photos and I think this was a great compromise. To celebrate, I still wanted to give Zac a surprise element, so I brought some champagne and fancy glasses from home to use as props. Zac and Tanner were so happy and I think these props really add to the images.
Picking out the right location
Tanner & Zac knew they wanted sunset, a beautiful view of the water, and someplace close to where they were staying. We decided Sand Key Park was the perfect backdrop to their images. Furthermore, this location offers a lot of variety that can be hard to come by in a beach setting, so it’s my top suggestion for that reason. Rocks, sea oats, greenery, sandy paths leading to the beach, and a calm shoreline make Sand Key Park a stunning location. Being on the South end of Clearwater Beach on Sand Key means there is less foot traffic as well.
